Job Description
Come work as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with Island Health.
Island Health is seeking Laboratory Technologists to join Laboratory teams in cities and towns across Vancouver Island, BC (including, but not limited to Victoria, Nanaimo, Campbell River, Comox, Duncan, Port McNeill). Multiple openings are available, including full time, part time, casual and temporary positions.
Join the team at Island Health and use your exceptional Laboratory Technologist skills to provide quality care for our clients.
Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be available to eligible candidates.
These positions may qualify for Provincial and/or Federal Loan Forgiveness programs.

Successful completion of recognized competency assessment exam and registration in the relevant field(s) of practice in accordance with the Canadian Alliance of Medical Laboratory Professionals Regulators (CAMLPR) pathways, or certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist; and
Graduation from a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology; and
Completion of core laboratory related courses within the last two years or one (1) year recent, related experience within the last six years in the core laboratory section of the laboratory, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
