We are seeking a Commercial Specialist to manage supplier relationships and support procurement activities. The role will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and commercial terms, coordinating contracts and supplier onboarding, and monitoring supplier performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure timely material availability, competitive pricing, and reliable supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding commercial matters
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure collaboration and service excellence
Research and find new suppliers for material requirement time to time as per requirement of purchase department
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and follow-up on action items
Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and registration processes
Coordinate contract administration, negotiations, renewals, amendments, and compliance requirements
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and commercial proposals, negotiate, finalize the prices, agreement, supply terms and conditions
Maintain pricing databases and monitor pricing trend, accuracy
Negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs
Track supplier deliveries and address delays, shortages, or discrepancies
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely supply availability
Monitor supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality, cost,
and responsiveness
Prepare supplier performance reports and dashboards, identify improvement opportunities and support corrective action plans
Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, certifications, and commercial documents
Generate reports on supplier performance, spending, contracts, and savings initiatives
Analyze supplier data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Assist management with commercial decision-making through data-driven insights
Assist purchase and inventory department to streamline purchases, inventory
Perform the work assigned by management time to time
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
3-5 years of experience in supplier relationship, procurement, commercial coordination (pharma or nutraceutical preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office (ERP experience is an asset)
High attention to detail and ability to multitask
Commercial awareness and negotiation & Contract administration
Problem-solving and attention to detail
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
