In this position, you will report to the Previs/Layout Supervisor and leverage your expertise in animation to interpret storyboards into stunning visuals. With a focus on camera blocking and composition, you’ll assist in the training and development of recent Previs/Layout Artists while driving project success through effective communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
• Visualize animatics and manage camera staging
• Create effective key poses for character animation
• Collaborate with the director on layout coverage options




• Proactively identify potential issues within shots
• Assist team in achieving artistic excellence and continuity

Requirements:
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong proficiency in Maya and cinematic techniques
• Solid understanding of staging and composition
• Ability to guide and mentor junior artists
• Degree/diploma in animation or equivalent experience
