The North End Community Health Centre is seeking a Clinical Social Worker for the Overlook Supportive Housing project. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop individualized care plans based on tenant assessments
• Collaborate with housing teams to provide holistic support services
• Offer educational resources and facilitate therapeutic groups
• Navigate crisis situations and provide immediate support
• Continuously assess effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university
• Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
• 2+ years in clinical or community social work
• Experience in trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches
• Knowledge of cultural practices pertinent to diverse populations
