Help families in Kirkland Lake as a Children’s Services Assessment Worker with NEOFACS on a full time contract. Provide crucial services, including risk assessments and protection plans, to support children's needs.

In this role, you will navigate various children's services, focusing on preventative measures and child protection. Your expertise in applying relevant legislation will guide your assessments and documentation to create effective protection strategies. Experience with youth and families will greatly enhance your work effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer preventative and protective child services
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments for cases
• Design and document protective plans for families




• Engage collaboratively with community resources
• Flexibility in scheduling and travel required

Requirements:
• Preferred qualifications: MSW or BSW; other degrees accepted
• Experience working with children and families is advantageous
• Bilingual English/French candidates preferred
• Must hold a G2 driver’s license; G Class necessary
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
