Become an Occupational Therapist I in Viking at Viking Health Centre and focus on enabling individuals to achieve independence through meaningful occupational activities. Your role is critical in patient care and community engagement.
In this full-time position, you will utilize your skills to support clients' needs through direct service and comprehensive assessments. You will work collaboratively with a health care team, ensuring clients, families, and caregivers are included in the care process and promoting different aspects of well-being across cognitive, affective, and physical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based therapy and assessments for clients
• Support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve service delivery
• Mentor junior staff and therapy students
• Engage in quality improvement projects and initiatives
Requirements:
• Completed bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in community, acute, or outpatient settings
• Motivation for professional growth and development
