Through a wide variety of workshops,retreats, and seasonal programs, the Centre invites people to encounter creation with wonder, reflection, and a renewed sense of responsibility for our common home.Click here to learn more about the Centre for Integral Ecology.Position OverviewThe Program Coordinator supports the ongoing growth and delivery of the events and programmingdeveloped at IJC’s Centre for Integral Ecology. Working closely with Centre staff, the successfulcandidate will help coordinate programs, support participants, conduct research, develop resources, andensure that events run smoothly.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, thrives in a collaborativeenvironment, and is equally comfortable organizing practical details, solving problems, and contributingcreatively to new initiatives. As a growing Centre, every member of our team plays an active role inshaping our programs and strengthening our impact.The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, enjoys learning, and is excited to engage with ideas at theintersection of ecology, spirituality, education,
and community.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics and preparations for Centre for Integral Ecology programs and events.Support the delivery of educational, spiritual, and land-based programming.Coordinate Centre for Integral Ecology programming for schools, parish groups, and communityorganizations.Conduct research, gather information, and synthesize findings to support program development.Prepare presentations, educational resources, and other program materials.Provide technical support for in-person and online events, including PowerPoint presentations, Zoom, and Google Meet.Support program evaluation by collecting, organizing, and interpreting participant feedback to inform future programming.Develop and maintain digital systems to organize, archive, and retrieve Centre for Integral Ecology program resources and records.Support communications, outreach, and participant engagement.Collaborate with Centre staff to develop and improve programs.Identify opportunities for innovation and contribute ideas that strengthen the Centre’s work.Assist with general administrative tasks related to program coordination.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsWe’re looking for someone who is organized and thoughtful, and who enjoys working with people. Thesuccessful candidate will be comfortable balancing practical coordination with creative thinking and willenjoy contributing to a mission-driven organization.The ideal candidate will possess:Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office,
Google Workspace, Zoom, Google Meet, and PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong research and analytical abilities, with the capacity to understand complex information andcommunicate it clearly.Initiative, creativity, and sound judgment.Confidence to contribute ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and participate actively in program development.A collaborative, positive, and service-oriented approach to working with colleagues and participants.The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a small team.An adequate degree of knowledge and skill in ecology, education, spiritualityFamiliarity with Integral Ecology and Laudato SiFamiliarity with the Catholic tradition, Ignatian spirituality, or experience working with Catholic or Christian organizations.Experience working in a non-profit or ministry-related setting (considered an asset).What You’ll GainThis is an opportunity to contribute to an innovative and growing initiative that brings together faith,ecology, and community in meaningful ways.
