In this senior role, you will drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering initiatives within a leading OEM organization. Engaging with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain, you’ll ensure that designs are both practical and safe for production. Your role is paramount in transforming complex designs into efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead DFM reviews for current and existing products
• Eliminate manufacturability risks in designs
• Improve throughput through design simplification
• Ensure safety principles are integrated into every design
• Collaborate in design reviews to assess manufacturability outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Over 7 years of DFM-related experience
• Mastery of PTC Creo 9 and familiarity with PLM tools
• Proven success in OEM design environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
