This position in the MHSU Outreach/Substance Use Stabilization Service will allow you to function within a comprehensive recovery model. You will be responsible for assessing client performance, planning interventions, and working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver tailored services. Your role includes evaluating effectiveness and contributing to quality management initiatives while educating clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and plan occupational therapy interventions
• Evaluate client outcomes and maintain accurate documentation
• Act as a resource for rehabilitation staff in designated areas
• Participate in departmental quality improvement meetings
• Contribute to educational initiatives within the department
Requirements:
• Must be a registered Occupational Therapist in British Columbia
• Experience with diverse client needs in mental health
• Robust analytical and intervention skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Commitment to ethical practice standards
