Take on a vital role as an IT Audit Specialist with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG). Engage in diverse auditing projects that assess IT control and risk across various government bodies.
Ideal candidates will hold a graduate degree in IT or a CPA qualified designation, complemented by at least 2 years of recent IT audit experience. You will work collaboratively on ITGC audits, providing critical insights into risk management while documenting processes. Be part of a team tasked with upholding the high standards of Canadian governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing ITGC audits
• Review and analyze audit evidence comprehensively
• Identify and document IT control-related risks
• Build effective relationships with audit teams
• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or CPA required
• 2+ years' experience in IT audit
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Availability for occasional travel and overtime
• Must achieve and maintain security clearance
