Advance your career as a Clinician in Child & Adolescent Mental Health within Fraser Health. This role emphasizes team-oriented practice and counseling for young clients in need.
Your primary duties will be to assess and treat children and adolescents, ensuring culturally safe and trauma-informed interventions. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will coordinate referrals and provide consultative services to families and staff. Engaging with community resources, you will enhance the quality of mental health support available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health assessments to identify client needs
• Create and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with families
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Engage in community outreach and resource networking
• Maintain clinical records and evaluate program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or similar
• Two years’ clinical experience with children and adolescents
• Registration eligibility with relevant professional body
• BC Driver's License and personal vehicle for work
• Robust knowledge of mental health assessment techniques
