This full-time term position is designed for someone who can integrate cultural insights into diverse Healing & Wellness Plans. You will work with Elders and community organizations to strengthen local resources while fostering trust with individuals involved in the justice system. Your guidance will shape culturally-informed programming and support participant reintegration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver culturally responsive programming
• Facilitate land-based and cultural activities
• Promote relationships among justice-involved individuals and communities
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance support
• Provide case coordination and cultural resources
Requirements:
• In-depth familiarity with Indigenous traditional practices
• Experience in mentorship and community-based programming
• Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution abilities
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches
• Capability to travel and work flexible schedule
