Provide essential social work support at CAMH’s AMANI program for Black youth. This bilingual position focuses on culturally relevant care for individuals aged 12-24.
As a Social Worker, you will address the unique challenges faced by Francophone Black youth dealing with mental health and substance use issues. Your work will involve individual and group therapy combined with consultation services for families and community stakeholders. You will contribute to a supportive setting that fosters teamwork and diversity while actively participating in program development and community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage cases of youth clients
• Conduct therapeutic group sessions in French and English
• Collaborate with other health services for integrated care
• Assist in program evaluation and development efforts
• Supervise Master's level social work students
Requirements:
• Bilingual in English and French
• Proven experience in mental health care provision
• Knowledge of community resources for youth
• Strong cultural sensitivity and commitment to diversity
• Flexibility to work evenings and conduct community outreach
Engage with youth and families at CAMH while delivering essential social services.
