The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking a dedicated Transit Hostler in Fort McMurray. This permanent full time role is essential for maintaining a safe and functional transit fleet.

In this role, you will prepare, clean, fuel, and conduct minor repairs on transit vehicles. Your expertise will help ensure that all buses are ready for scheduled services. With a structured work schedule of four 10-hour shifts, you will play a crucial role in servicing public works in the community, emphasizing teamwork and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily bus parking matrix
• Perform thorough fuel checks and fluid top-ups
• Drive vehicles as necessary for servicing
• Clean and sanitize interiors of buses
• Execute minor vehicle maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• Completion of High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years’ experience in fleet vehicle servicing
• Valid Class Three Operator’s License required
• Q-endorsement (Air Brakes) mandatory
• Must work outdoors in various conditions
