Become an Eating Disorder Clinician specializing in youth at RVH. Focus on providing assessment and therapy through evidence-based practices, including Family-Based Therapy.
As part of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Eating Disorder Program, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals aged 25 and under. This role demands collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized intervention plans using various therapeutic modalities. Your expertise in coping skills and compliance strategies will help build resilience in patients. Expect to manage travel across multiple treatment sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-depth psychosocial assessments
• Design individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the team
• Conduct therapy in various formats,
including family and group
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation
• Advocate for community resources and support for families
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant field required
• At least 3 years of clinical experience with eating disorders
• Solid knowledge of DSM IV and Mental Health Act
• Proficient communication, organization, and time management
• Valid driver’s license and technical proficiency
