This position allows you to be part of the culinary team that ensures students and staff enjoy hot lunches while adhering to health standards. You’ll take charge of food purchasing, preparation, and sanitization of the kitchen, guided by school administration. There may be opportunities to support additional schools or colleges as needs arise.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve hot lunches daily
• Create wholesome menus considering dietary restrictions
• Conduct grocery buying and quality checks
• Uphold cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
• Collaborate within the school to enhance meal quality

Requirements:
• Grade 10 completion plus relevant culinary experience
• Required Food Protected and First Aid certifications
• Preferred journeyman Cook Trade Certificate
• In-depth knowledge of food safety practices
• Ability to effectively interact with students and staff
