Primary Purpose: The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for the coordination of shipments, as well as collaborating cross-departmentally regarding warehouse processes and procedures.

Essential Job

Functions

Warehouse Utilize ERP software to process and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare all necessary shipping documents, including export compliance documentation for outbound shipments (e.g.customs, EPA, etc.).

Maintain accurate and organized records of inventory, shipments, and branch transfers.

Review open sales orders and transfer requests and provide to Warehouse Team.

Liaise with third party carriers/vendors to arrange transportation and delivery.

Communicate with different departments regarding inventory needs and timelines.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

Assist in the development and optimization of warehouse procedures.

Manage and update documentation related to warehouse processes.

Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or GED.



One year of experience working in a warehouse setting or related field. Knowledge of computers and ERP systems is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to work as part of a team, utilizing excellent communication and service skills.

Time management skills.

Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Exhibits a high level of integrity, mutual respect, and employee teamwork always.

Displays a skilled image. Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or exceeding company expectations, goals, and objectives.

Ability to keep Company information in strict confidence and always adhere to Company policies and procedures. *Physical Demands and Working Conditions: A significant portion of the workday involves standing, walking, siting, bending, kneeling, climbing and lifting.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination are needed for tasks like operating equipment.

Tasks like loading and unloading product and using office equipment may involve repetitive hand and arm movements.

The work is typically performed in a warehouse environment with minimal exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, or other adverse conditions.

PPE includes: safety goggles, gloves, respirator, hearing protection and CSA approved work boots.

The normal work week is up to 40 hours, but the hours will vary according to production demands.
