What do we do?

IMECH engineers and manufactures radial bearings, thrust bearings, and other critical components for the down hole oil and gas market.

What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:

- Maintain a safe working setting and promote health and safety awareness.
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments, daily inspection and ensure proper shut down at end of shift.
- Receiving products and verifying quantities against suppliers packing slip.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing deliveries have appropriate documents.
- Data entry, process documents, waybills, packing slips, and paperwork for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Assemble, scribe, and package products.
- Communicate with third party affiliates (i.e. Couriers, suppliers), schedule shipments if required.
- Correctly package orders to ensure no damage occurs during transit.
- Ensure warehouse maintains an acceptable organized standard.
- Assists in keeping building tidy, including maintenance of building.
- Assists in a variety of functions (empty chip bins), assembly department, and manual labor tasks as needed.
- Ensure equipment is functioning thoroughly and supplies are stocked as needed.
- Sort and place materials or items on shelves according to inventory procedures.
- Pick order, assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.




- Inform warehouse lead of any issues or nonconformities in the warehouse.
- Follow company procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties as required.

With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:

- Ability to lift medium to heavy loads.
- Experience with Microsoft Applications.
- Proficient in data entry and computer.
- Experience driving a forklift.
- A valid forklift operator’s certification an asset.
- Willingness to learn a variety of tasks in all departments.
- Experience or training in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in outdoor environment.
- Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority.
