About the Role
Our Warehouse Team is hiring temporary help to receive and price product ahead of the Christmas season. This role suits someone detail-oriented who understands the importance of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
This is a full-time, temporary position (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, daytime shifts, running through August and September. The role involves extended periods of walking and standing, along with regular physical demands (lifting, carrying, and unpacking merchandise).
Pay: $19.00/hour
What You'll Do
- Price incoming merchandise for all stores (giftware and home décor)
- Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reporting any damages or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders, ensuring proper receiving procedures are followed
- Prepare merchandise splits for orders purchased across multiple locations
- Help maintain accurate shipping logs
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable with physical work, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full August–September schedule
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or retail experience is an asset but not required
