Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our fast-paced distribution center team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials and products. Your mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and familiarity with warehouse management systems will ensure smooth operations from receiving to shipping.

Duties

- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment, ensuring timely delivery
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and heavy lifting tools
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inventory accuracy and documenting movements within the warehouse management system
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to maintain safety standards
- Assist with construction-related tasks when required,



utilizing construction experience for specialized handling or assembly
- Support inventory control through proper storage techniques, organization, and order picking procedures

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related logistics roles
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and load/unload machinery
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software
- Strong skills in order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy lifting techniques
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus for specialized handling tasks
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
