Join Rooted Connections Incorporated as a Dari Interpreter in Regina. Support families through effective verbal interpretation in our Newcomer Intensive Family Support Program.

This contract role seeks professional interpreters who can fluently speak Dari. You'll facilitate communication for meetings and case conferences, operating flexibly Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your responsibilities include maintaining clarity and accuracy in oral conversations, as well as providing cross-cultural brokering when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret verbally in English and Dari for meetings
• Sight translate messages during conferences and calls
• Provide clear and accurate interpretation per client language levels




• Collaborate with Rooted Connections staff as needed
• Uphold skilled ethics according to ATIS Saskatchewan

Requirements:
• Fluency in Dari and English
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in interpretation or related fields
• Understanding of cross-cultural nuances
• Commitment to professional ethics in interpretation
