We're seeking a dedicated Youth Worker for a full-time salaried position. Your expertise in social work, crisis prevention, and youth outreach will drive positive outcomes for youth facing personal challenges. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments and orient new residents
• Supervise shelter routines and enforce safety protocols
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counselling
• Develop and implement life skill programs
• Maintain accurate documentation and case files
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in social work or related field
• 2+ years experience working with marginalized youth
• Valid First Aid/CPR and crisis prevention certifications
• Knowledge of 2SLGBTQ+ issues and housing systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
