Campbell River Hospital seeks a dedicated Patient Porter for multi-site support, enhancing patient care through safe transportation and organizational duties. This role is casual with flexible scheduling.

In this Patient Porter position, you will report to the Manager and assist healthcare personnel by transporting patients across the hospital settings. Utilizing a computerized dispatch system is a key aspect of this job, ensuring efficient operations. Solid physical abilities and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with staff and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport patients to various hospital areas efficiently
• Ensure the workplace remains clean and orderly
• Engage in clerical tasks as needed during duties




• Communicate professionally with hospital personnel and patients
• Operate dispatch technology for patient transportation

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent experience
• Recent related experience of at least one year
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical capability for the position's demands
• Ability to manage work tasks efficiently
