The part time role within our Collections team at the BC-Vancouver-Oak St donor center is essential for collecting life-saving blood products. Your role includes conducting donor screenings, performing phlebotomy, and carefully monitoring donors throughout the process, all while adhering to strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Register donors and conduct health screenings
• Execute phlebotomy services with care and precision
• Ensure accurate product labeling and information
• Help prepare mobile donation clinics in our community
• Promote best practices for enhanced donor experiences
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; post-secondary is an asset
• At least 3 years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Basic computing skills, especially in Microsoft Office
• Multilingual communication skills are beneficial
