As a nurse, you will play a key role in the health of residents, facilitating communication between all parties and ensuring skilled care. The role demands a commitment to monitoring conditions and engaging with an interdisciplinary team focused on enhancing quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication with residents’ families and management
• Monitor health conditions and care needs of residents
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care
• Collaborate in best practice programs
• Support a positive, resident-focused culture
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in senior care
• Proven excellence in dementia care
• Completed LPN education from an accredited institution
• Active practice permit with the provincial nursing college
• Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider completion
