Join Mara Surgical Centre as a Recovery Room Nurse, providing crucial care in the immediate post-anesthesia stage at our Point Edward location. Focus on patient monitoring and safety during recovery.

In this in office, casual role, the Recovery Room Nurse will ensure patient safety and comfort following surgery. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, managing post-anesthesia side effects, and providing education to patients and families. You will work alongside surgeons and anesthesiologists, ensuring a coordinated approach to post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in recovery room
• Monitor and assess vital signs post-surgery
• Respond to acute changes in patient conditions
• Document care and communicate with healthcare team
• Educate families on recovery protocols

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certification necessary
• Previous PACU or ICU nursing experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
