Join WellFort's Health N Smiles team as a Certified Dental Assistant in Brampton, ON. This part time position involves patient education, infection control, and an array of chair-side duties.
This role requires a Certified Dental Assistant Level II, providing services to under-resourced families in the Region of Peel. You will collaborate with hygienists and dentists while maintaining the dental clinic's operations. The position entails preparing operatories, educating clients on oral hygiene, and adhering to infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare operatories and equipment for daily use
• Teach clients about oral hygiene and dental care
• Perform chair-side duties with precision and care
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Maintain dental supplies in accordance with clinic standards
Requirements:
• Certified Level II with ODAA registration
• Minimum three years in a large dental clinic
• One year in a community dental clinic
• Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
