The University of Manitoba's Department of Religion and Culture invites applications for the Demonstrator role in the Introduction to the Study of Religion course, running from January 6 to April 30, 2027. Work efficiency is required for 0 to 20 hours weekly and entails preparing instructional materials and consulting with students, as well as assessing their work effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in staff meetings and orientations
• Develop instructional content and assessments
• Provide scheduled consultations for student support
• Assist in marking assignments and exams
• Occasionally substitute for teaching or support staff
Requirements:
• Academic background relevant to the instructional role
• Understanding and empathy towards student needs
• Competence in English language skills
• Must be a full time student at University of Manitoba
• Preference for applicants in Religion and Culture studies
