Serve as a Gaming Analyst with Service Nova Scotia in Dartmouth, ensuring compliance with lottery schemes and gaming regulations. Provide assurance to the public and government while managing evolving gaming technologies.
This permanent role requires you to report to the Senior Gaming Analyst and focus on the enforcement of the Gaming Control Act. You'll assess both existing and current lottery schemes, review compliance for various gaming devices, and gather data through investigations and audits. Your role is pivotal in safeguarding the integrity of the gaming industry in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor compliance with the Gaming Control Act
• Conduct audits and regulatory inspections
• Investigate and evaluate suspicious gaming activities
• Research and propose new testing standards
• Collaborate with law enforcement on gaming issues
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of experience in compliance or investigations
• Proven ability to interpret regulations
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of database software and technological tools
• Self-starter with a client-focused approach
