Become a Peer Supporter in the Crisis Stabilization program at Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. Utilize your lived experience in addiction recovery to provide emotional and practical support to individuals in crisis.

This full-time, 12-month contract role requires in-depth knowledge of mental health and substance use issues. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate support while helping participants achieve their wellness goals. Your involvement fosters a sense of hope, encouraging clients towards secure community living.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized support based on lived experience
• Assist clients with crisis management and resource navigation
• Facilitate psycho-education and support group sessions




• Monitor the stabilization environment and client health
• Engage in conflict resolution as needed

Requirements:
• Lived experience of addiction and recovery
• Post-secondary education in social services or related field
• Crisis management and outreach experience
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certification
