Become a part time Primary Care Paramedic with the County of Simcoe, delivering critical ambulance services and medical care to patients. Focus on providing respectful and high-quality care in various emergency scenarios.
As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will be vital in pre-hospital emergency response, reporting to the Platoon Supervisor. Your duties will include assessing patient needs, applying life-saving interventions, and ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Health's standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining paramedic vehicles, managing supplies, and embracing continuous learning for improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients in need
• Execute medical interventions following established protocols
• Maintain communication with the Central Ambulance Communications Centre
• Complete and submit reports accurately and timely
• Ensure all equipment is serviceable and ready for use
Requirements:
• Community College Diploma in Primary Care Paramedicine
• Current AEMCA certification required
• Unrestricted Ontario class “F” driver’s license
• Standard First Aid and BLS certifications needed
• Strong ability to work under pressure in emergencies
Support patient care in high-pressure situations as a dedicated Primary Care Paramedic.
