North Island College is seeking a qualified Physics Instructor for sessional courses in Campbell River for Fall 2026. Teach College Preparatory Physics and Introduction to Physics with face-to-face classes.

As a part of the Faculty of Arts, Science & Management, you will engage teaching students in essential physics courses. This role requires effectiveness in communication, methodical course design, and a focus on supportive student learning. Instructors are expected to plan lesson materials skillfully while fostering an interactive classroom workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course materials for PHY 050L and PHY 100
• Teach face-to-face classes with clear learning outcomes
• Evaluate student performance and submit grades promptly




• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Support a collaborative and positive learning environment

Requirements:
• M.Sc. in Physics or related discipline
• At least three years teaching experience in post-secondary
• Strong communication and instructional abilities
• BC Instructor Diploma or Teaching Certificate preferred
• Knowledge of educational technologies and course design
