In this full-time role, you'll collaborate with the News Director to produce compelling stories. You'll develop vital community contacts and cover news events while editing and producing engaging content for TV and digital media. This position combines creativity with responsibility—ideal for an enthusiastic journalist ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop community contacts and build relationships
• Attend news events and chase compelling stories
• Edit and produce daily news stories for various platforms




• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm news coverage
• Backfill as Anchor during newscasts as needed

Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Journalism or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years in a related journalism position preferred
• Proficient in ENG camera and editing tools like Premier Pro
• Strong writing skills for news and web content
• BC Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract
