About the Role

Hiredbuddy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with our product and marketing teams to design and implement visually compelling, user-friendly websites and web pages. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced designers and developers while contributing to real projects that impact our users.

Key Responsibilities

- Design responsive web pages and interfaces that align with our brand identity
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Optimize existing web pages for better usability and conversion
- Maintain and update design systems and style guides
- Conduct basic user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ability to code is a plus)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web design projects




- Excellent visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and spacing
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow
- Knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to web design
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
