Myles Metalworks is a small, growing architectural metalworking company based in Winnipeg. We build custom stairs, railings, and other architectural metalwork for residential and commercial projects.

We're looking for someone to join our team who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing good work, and wants to learn and grow with the company.

This is a hands-on position with a mix of shop fabrication and in office installation. No two projects are exactly the same, so being able to think through problems, work carefully, and take direction is important.

What you'll be doing

- Cutting, fitting, and preparing steel and other materials
- MIG welding and basic fabrication
- Grinding and finishing metalwork
- Helping build custom stairs, railings, and other projects
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting with deliveries and on-site installations
- Measuring and laying out work
- Keeping the shop and work areas organized
- Learning new fabrication and installation skills as you gain experience

What we're looking for We're not necessarily looking for someone who knows everything. We're looking for someone with a good attitude who wants to become a skilled fabricator.

You should

- Be reliable and show up ready to work
- Take pride in the quality of your work




- Be comfortable using a tape measure and basic hand/power tools
- Be willing to learn and take direction
- Have good attention to detail
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Have a valid driver's license & be location
- Have some experience with welding, fabrication, construction, mechanical work, or a related trade

Previous metal fabrication or welding experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
