A.L. Blair Construction Ltd. has been proudly serving Eastern Ontario with quality aggregates, concrete, asphalt and heavy civil construction services since 1932. We are currently looking for a Welder / Millwright to join our team.

We are seeking a motivated, dependable individual with experience in welding, fabrication, equipment maintenance, and mechanical repairs. The successful candidate will work on a variety of construction and industrial equipment and projects.

Responsibilities

- Welding and metal fabrication
- Perform repairs/maintenance on crushing, asphalt and concrete plants
- Repair and maintenance of trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components




- Assisting with general shop and field repairs as required
- Working safely and maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications
- Experience as a welder, millwright, mechanic, or similar trade
- Solid welding and fabrication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience working with heavy equipment is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
- Dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
