As a Youth Support Worker, your primary focus will be to ensure young individuals thrive in a supportive environment. You will work closely to create tailored Personal Service Plans, ensuring their voices are heard and rights respected. Building relationships with families and communities will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respect and advocate for children's rights
• Develop and implement Personal Service Plans
• Assist with day-to-day activities and medication
• Build positive relationships with families and team members
• Maintain a clean and protected living environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• Child and Youth Care Diploma preferred
• At least 2 years in social services with youth
• Training in Trauma-Informed Practice is essential
• Restricted class 4 driver's license is mandatory
