BD Diesel Performance is hiring an Entry-Level Transmission Technician for its Transmission Department with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position involves tasks like parts cleaning, transmission teardown, and inspection, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth in an encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean parts and pick transmission cores efficiently
• Tear down and inspect transmission components
• Prepare and paint casings and accessories
• Assist in training team members and current hires
• Perform basic maintenance and calibration of tools
Requirements:
• Moderate understanding of general job responsibilities
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Must lift items weighing up to 49lbs
• Skilled with basic hand tools in a production setting
• Need to be self-motivated with a positive mindset
