Join RTX’s Collins Aerospace team in Oakville as a Weekend Deburr Technician. This role emphasizes precision in deburring and cleaning aerospace landing gear components.
You'll support quality assurance through meticulous finishing processes under the Weekend Day Shift Surface Finishing Supervisor. Your contributions will directly impact operational excellence in the aerospace and defense industry. Weekend shifts are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday through Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform extensive deburring and polishing tasks
• Operate overhead cranes for handling large components
• Conduct operator self-verification for quality checks
• Engage actively in LEAN and Continuous Improvement processes
• Support the rework and finishing of parts as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of deburring experience required
• High school diploma mandatory
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet ITAR regulations
• Ability to work from detailed specifications and drawings
• Knowledge of monitoring production order protocols
