Drive infection control initiatives at Southbridge as the Infection Control Lead. This temporary full time position emphasizes resident safety through effective infection prevention strategies and rigorous staff training.

Reporting to the Regional IPAC Specialist, you will excel in coordinating the infection surveillance program and leading outbreak responses with local health authorities. You will evaluate training programs, ensuring they meet the needs of both the staff and residents, while staying compliant with health care regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of infection prevention measures across the facility
• Manage daily infection surveillance and conduct safety inspections




• Educate staff on infection control protocols
• Oversee the annual influenza vaccination campaign
• Analyze infection data and recommend improvements

Requirements:
• RN/RPN degree or diploma preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in infection control
• Required CIC-LTC certification
• Knowledge of microbiology and outbreak response
• Bilingual English/French preferred
