In this role, you'll be an integral part of Aecon’s team under the supervision of the Shop Foreperson. As a Field Heavy Duty Technician, focus on preventative and corrective maintenance for earthmoving and paving equipment. Bring your expertise in diagnostics and repairs, and work in challenging conditions at active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow Workplace Safety and Environmental regulations at all sites
• Read schematics to determine workflows and repair methods
• Operate tools and equipment to repair machinery components




• Inspect vehicles to identify defects and service needs
• Complete field repairs on equipment breakdowns

Requirements:
• 3+ years in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 demerit points
• Journeyperson Certificate (Red Seal) as a Heavy Equipment Technician
• Excellent mechanical knowledge with diagnostic ability
• Capacity to perform heavy lifting in field conditions
