Elevate the Brain Tumour Foundation's community presence as the Manager of National Events & Engagement Strategy. This full-time hybrid role blends leadership, event management, and community outreach.
You will be responsible for planning and executing national fundraising events, including the Walk program, while mentoring a dedicated team member. Focus on developing current community initiatives, enhancing operational processes, and collaborating with volunteers to fulfill the Foundation's mission. Your leadership will play a crucial role in amplifying the Foundation's impact and fundraising outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage logistics for 21 annual Walk initiatives
• Drive 35-50 community fundraising events across Canada
• Prepare and oversee revenue and expense budgets
• Support financial accountability and event reporting
• Cultivate partnerships with national volunteers
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of event planning and management
• Strong budgeting and project management skills
• Proven success in national event coordination
• Experience in nonprofit environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
