SOURCES is seeking a Life Skills Instructor for community support in Newton. This permanent part-time role involves guiding adults with developmental disabilities through meaningful life skills training and activities.

In the position of Life Skills Instructor, you will contribute significantly to our Discovery program. Your engaging and empathetic nature will be essential for fostering relationships and promoting social inclusion among clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment tailored to individual needs through collaboration with the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build team-oriented relationships with clients
• Coach individuals in their personal growth journeys
• Implement positive behavior support strategies effectively




• Document progress and maintain safety protocols
• Spend time actively engaging in community activities

Requirements:
• Strong empathy and self-awareness in interactions
• Initiative and a high standard of integrity
• Knowledgeable in mental health and disabilities
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license; Class 4 within a year
• Physically capable of meeting job demands
