Englobe is looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Designer to impact projects in the mining and energy sectors. Your proficiency in mechanical design and collaboration will be crucial.

In this role with Englobe, part of Spencer Engineering, you will collaborate on the design and assessment of mine hoisting systems. Your responsibilities will include creating mechanical drawings, participating in site assessments, and refining proposals in a nurturing team dynamic focused on bold solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare mechanical drawings and related design documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and clients on project success
• Conduct thorough field visits for data collection
• Maintain quality assurance and documentation standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as needed

Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar
• 4-7 years’ experience in mechanical design
• Proficient in AutoCAD and similar software
• Solid attention to detail and technical skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
