AmpThink is hiring a Senior Accountant in Fort Erie to manage our Canadian entity’s financial operations. This CPA role focuses on accounting practices across Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements.

As the Senior Accountant, you will handle complete financial cycles: from accounts payable and receivable to payroll remittances. This position reports to our CFO in Garland and involves maintaining balanced records for cross-border transactions in CAD and USD. You’ll be pivotal in supporting our creative projects in the sports entertainment sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete accounting functions for the Canadian office
• Prepare and remit payroll and GST/HST to CRA
• Reconcile U.S. and Canadian intercompany financials




• Manage incoming bills and oversee authorization processes
• Facilitate daily office tasks and maintain operational efficiency

Requirements:
• CPA designation required
• Construction accounting experience preferred
• Familiarity with handling currency transactions is vital
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs as needed
• Full-time, on-site role in Fort Erie
