The Chinook School Division requires a part-time (0.50 FTE) permanent elementary general teacher at Shaunavon Public School beginning August 26, 2026. Shaunavon PublicSchool is a pre‑K to Grade 7 school with approximately 159 students and 12 teachers.

The Chinook School Division is proud to serve over 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student‑centered teachers and support staff. Qualifications:

Effective interpersonal and communication skills;





Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment;

A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach;

Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC's, professionals and community service agencies;

Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student‑centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;

Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation

Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Successful teaching experience or training;

Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
