You will report to the Patient Care Manager and take part in a novel Long-Stay Program supporting ventilated patients. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing therapeutic recreation activities designed to meet the diverse needs of patients. Utilize your clinical expertise to create enriching experiences that promote rehabilitation and social connection.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement individualized recreation plans
• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and groups
• Conduct assessments of patient needs and progress




• Ensure thorough documentation of patient interactions
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to enhance care

Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies focused on Therapeutic Recreation
• Positive standing with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario
• 1 to 3 years of experience in therapeutic settings
• Basic Rescuer Certificate in Cardiac Life Support
• Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills
