Join Equinox Gold as an Exploration Technician based in Geraldton, Ontario, focusing on supporting exploration programs in a collaborative environment. This role involves drilling, sampling, and logistics operations.
In this position, you'll work under the guidance of the Lead Technician and help with various day-to-day field activities. Responsibilities include monitoring drilling programs, handling cores, and supporting regional exploration initiatives. The role requires effective communication and adherence to safety standards, making it suitable for individuals passionate about outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor active drill programs and report progress
• Assist with drillhole layout and site preparation
• Conduct core handling and QA/QC activities
• Collect and ship samples while maintaining procedures
• Maintain accurate records and manage inventory
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in outdoor operations
• Exposure to drilling and sampling methods is preferable
• Ability to safely use tools and vehicles
• Robust organizational skills and Microsoft 365 proficiency
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
