Become a Casual Part time Water Treatment Operator with the City of Greater Sudbury at the Wanapitei Water Treatment Plant. This role provides hourly pay between $30.92 and $35.45, focusing on operational efficiency and maintenance.

In this position, you will assist experienced Operators and tradespeople while contributing to facility maintenance. Expect to perform routine inspections and preventive tasks that ensure the proper operation of all equipment. Your ability to record and analyze operational data will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily operational tasks and maintenance activities
• Execute preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment
• Collect samples and complete laboratory tests




• Be available for a 24/7 work schedule when necessary
• Keep informed on safety practices and applicable legislation

Requirements:
• Successful completion of secondary school mandatory
• Relevant post-secondary diploma preferred
• Certification as Operator-in-Training within 18 months required
• Familiarity with water treatment processes preferred
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle use required
