In this part time position, you will lead a canvassing team in Port Coquitlam, focusing on affordable living and electric solutions. Your leadership will empower volunteers and engage diverse community members in significant conversations with elected officials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee deep canvassing efforts across Port Coquitlam
• Train and mentor three paid canvassers in effective outreach
• Build and develop volunteer leaders for sustainable impact
• Track outcomes using CRM systems for continuous improvement
• Prepare community members for engagement with local governance
Requirements:
• Experienced in community organizing and canvassing
• Proven ability to lead and coach small teams
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Proficient with data management tools
• Availability for evening and weekend work when needed
